As many of you are aware, the War Memorial Trust was established to offer a living memorial to those former pupils and members of staff of Dalziel High School who died during the Second World War. 

Over the years, Cleland Estate has been greatly used by many thousands of people and, today, Dalziel Park - arisen out of the redevelopment of Cleland Estate - is also extensively used by the present generation of Dalzielians.

However, like everything else, to maintain such wonderful facilities to the high standard to which everyone expects costs a great deal of money.

The purpose of this website, therefore, is two-fold:- 

1. To allow Dalzielians, of all ages, to view the facilities at Dalziel Park and keep in touch with the current FP sections and their progress.

2. To allow Dalzielians to register their interest in the site and consider making donations (no matter how big or small) or indeed, leave legacies, to allow future Dalzielians the opportunity to enjoy the facilities currently enjoyed by the present generation. Please remember that a gift by way of legacy costs you nothing today, yet it will help to secure the future of Dalziel Park as a living war memorial, for generations to come.
